Korean female idols KARA will release their third Japanese single next month.
According to Japan's daily sports paper Sankei Sports on Thursday, KARA's upcoming single titled "Jet Coaster Love" will go on sale on March 23, while the song of the same name will be used in the commercial for aesthetics brand TBC.
KARA, whose members Han Seungyeon, Kang Jiyoung and Nicole are embroiled in a dispute with their agency DSP Media, recently resumed their activities as a five-member group.
KARA made a debut with their first album "Blooming" in 2007 and is well known for their hit songs "Mister," "Wanna" and "Lupin."
The group expanded their singing careers into Japan in August of last year after signing with Universal Music Sigma, a branch of Universal Music Group, with their first Japanese single "Mister."
They were named best new artist of the year at the 25th annual Japan Gold Disc Award, have placed at No. 1 on the Oricon chart's listing for the most successful new artist of 2010, and Oricon also named them the most promising artist of 2011.
The girls are also the first foreign artist to have their first full-length album "Girl's Talk" win platinum disc status which is handed to records or DVDs that sell over 250,000 copies, maintain its position within the top five slots of the prestigious Oricon weekly music chart for five straight weeks and sell over 310,000 copies of it to date.
They are set to release "KARA BEST CLIPS," featuring music videos of their hit songs, on February 23.
