Release date for new film "Housemaid" set for May 13

The release date for erotic suspense film "Housemaid" has been set for May 13, according to its production company Sidus FNH on Thursday.

A teaser trailer was also released for the movie about a housemaid who begins working for an upper class family and soon starts a physical relationship with the man of the house.

The film is helmed by critically acclaimed director Im Sang-soo who is famous for his other works including "A Good Lawyer's Wife" and "The President's Last Bang."

"A Good Lawyer's Wife" collected several international prizes including the awards for best actress and cinematography at the Stockholm Film Festival, Silver Spur Prize at the Flanders International Film Festival and the Lotus Prize at the Deauville Asian Film Festival.

Cannes award-winning actress Jeon Do-youn will star as the role of the housemaid and actor Lee Jung-jae as the man of the house in "Housemaid." Other cast members include veteran actress Yoon Yeo-jung and Seo Woo.
