Japanese artist Mai Kuraki to release 33rd single in Korea

Japanese R&B singer Mai Kuraki is set to release a new single in Korea next week, according to album promoter Mnet Media on Friday.

The album, her 33rd single release, is named after the two title tracks to the album -- "Eien Yori Nagaku/Drive Me Crazy."

"Eien Yori Nagaku," featured in her cosmetics commercial, was written by music producer Zaitsu Kazuo.

Kuraki teamed with Korean music producers Silver Stream for the second time for "Drive Me Crazy" which has received rave reviews and was used as the theme song for the Japanese version of hit American series "Heroes" season 3.

Silver Stream has worked with some of Korea's top artists including Big Mama, Big Bang and Rain. They previously worked with the songstress on her 32nd single "Beautiful," which rose to the No. 1 spot on the Japan's Oricon music chart.

Mai Kuraki met with her Korean fans in November last year when she visited to hold her first ever concert in the country.

Her new single, set to go on sale on March 10, started receiving preorders yesterday.
