Iconic Korean pop singer PSY is gearing up to release his next song to follow one of the world’s biggest chart-topping tunes in 2012, “Gangnam Style.”Yang Hyun-seok, C.E.O of PSY’s agency YG Entertainment, revealed the world star’s follow-up tune has been set up but its releasing date has been put off to early next year, the chief said in an interview with Korean economic news agency EDAILY on Thursday.“I’ve listened to PSY’s new U.S. single and it’s fantastic. In my opinion, it could be popular enough to replace ‘Gangnam Style',” Yang said.“We thought November would be the right time to release his new tune but ‘Gangnam Style’ sensation is lasting longer than we thought. We’re reconsidering the idea to mix English and Korean into the lyrics. What’s important is to make the best for PSY,” the C.E.O and music producer said. The sensational rapper, who marked himself as a runner-up on Billboard for six straight weeks, has been busy with hopping to some of the biggest music markets around the globe for promotion.※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
