PSY has kept his pledge to perform for free in front of a large number of crowd in Seoul, at the Seoul Plaza on September 4 at 10 p.m. KST. The event was planned at last minute as PSY wanted to express his gratitude to the Korean people for supporting him and his music, which came into the international spotlight after "Gangnam Style" went viral thanks to the music video on YouTube.Seoul officials report that about 10,000 gathered to see the global star belting out at least 15 songs, way past midnight, and the city extended the subway operation hours till 2 a.m. the next day.Meanwhile, the 36-year-old rapper-singer is slated to perform at the 17th Busan International Film Festival in Busan, Korea, on October 6.
