Korean rock band CNBLUE's second Japanese single has made a smashing debut, securing the No. 1 spot on Oricon’s daily chart. On Thursday, Oricon's official website revealed that CNBLUE sold some 32,000 copies of their new single "Where are you" since its release in the country on February 1. The single is composed of the title track “Where are you,” "feeling" which was written and produced by CNBLUE leader Jung Yong-hwa and "Get Away" which member Lee Jong-hyun wrote. "It feels like a dream that our second major Japanese single topped Oricon's daily chart on the day of its release," the members of CNBLUE said in the statement. CNBLUE, who signed with Warner Music Japan, released their first major Japanese album "In my head" which became certified gold after selling over 100,000 copies in just a month of going on sale in October of last year. They also held a nationwide concert tour in Japan late last year with shows at the Zepp Sendai, Zepp Nagoya, Zepp Osaka and at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium. The boys recently became the first Korean artist to perform at Japan’s annual music fest “COUNTDOWN JAPAN.”※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
