KARA, Girls' Generation places in top 20 of Japanese ringtone chart for 2011

K-pop female groups KARA and Girls' Generation have once again placed within the top 20 slots of a year end music chart in Japan. Yearly data by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (from December 15, 2010 to December 13, 2011) showed that KARA's single "Mister" was the sixth most downloaded song in the country followed immediately by Girls' Generation's "Gee." Girls' Generation rounded out the top ten with their third single "Mr. Taxi" and KARA's fourth Japanese single "GO GO SUMMER!" came in 11th place. Further down the chart, KARA's "Jumping" and "Jet Coaster Love," came in No. 22 and 23, respectively, and their fifth Japanese single "Winter Magic" came in 65th place while Girls' Generation's "Run Devil Run" ranked at No. 71.
