INFINITE L lands role in upcoming cable series

Korean idol L of boy band INFINITE has been cast as one of the main characters in a TV series set to air on cable channel tvN, according to the show's producer on Tuesday. tvN announced in a press release that L, whose real name is Kim Myung-soo, has been cast as one of the band members in their new Monday and Tuesday series "Shut Up Pretty Boy Band" (translated title) set to air January 30. L will take on the role of Lee Hyun-soo who is the second guitarist while the series will tell the story of friendship, love and music.
