Park Jin-young to open Korean restaurant in New York

JYP Entertainment founder and producer Park Jin-young will open a Korean restaurant in New York in two months time, according to a press release from the agency. On Friday, JYP announced that Park Jin-young along with his agency will open a high-class Korean BBQ restaurant called Kristabelli in Manhattan, New York in December. Park has overseen everything for the upcoming establishment of Kristabelli, which will feature a restaurant and bar, and has worked with famed Korean-American chef David Shim who has worked at the Veritas in New York City and L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon in creating the food for the menu. The press release also stated that Park plans on opening different branches of the restaurant in Los Angeles, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai and Seoul next year. Park, 39, made his debut in 1994 with his first studio album "Blue City" and has since released six more full-length records and mini-album "Sad Freedom" (2009).He established his own record label JYPE in 1997 where he discovered and trained many new talents, most notably Asian superstar Rain.
