Han Seungyeon tweets to fans on KARA's 4 year anniversary

KARA member Han Seungyeon has thanked and apologized to fans on the fourth anniversary of her girl group's debut.Early on Tuesday, Han wrote on her Twitter account , "It's been four years. My heart aches a lot.. I'm even sorry that I'm finally saying something to you. I want to tell our fans I'm so grateful that they're waiting for us to tell our story. What more could I possibly.. I love you. You are precious.." Her apologies apparently refer to the turmoil KARA has been in since mid-January after she, Kang Jiyoung and Nicole applied for their contract with agency DSP Media to be terminated.Ever since, their activities in Korea as a five-member group has been on a halt and only the two who have decided to stay with DSP are fulfilling individual schedules; leader Park Gyulee promoted animated film "Alpha and Omega" for which she voiced one of the leading roles and is a host for a radio show while Gu Hara is shooting a Lee Min-ho starrer drama set to go on air in late May.The girls have continued promoting themselves as KARA in Japan however, releasing albums and DVDs as well as shooting their own TV show which have been hits, proving that their internal trouble has done little to hinder their title as the most successful female K-pop group in the country.KARA debuted on March 29, 2007 with the album “Blooming” and are well-known in Korea for their hit songs "Mister," "Wanna" and "Lupin." They have led a successful career in Japan as well since branching out to the country last summer, being named best new artists of the year at the 25th annual Japan Gold Disc Award and placing at NO.1 on the Oricon chart’s listing for the most successful new artists of 2010 and them being named the most promising artist of 2011. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
