Ko Soo admits he has girlfriend

After days of arousing speculation, actor Ko Soo has admitted he has a girlfriend.Through a press release distributed through his agency HB Entertainment on Thursday, Ko Soo said, "There is a person whom I have come to develop a good relationship with after being introduced to her by an old acquaintance of mine."News that 32-year-old actor is dating an art student in college first broke on Tuesday through a report in a local newspaper but HB had said they were not aware of Ko Soo seeing anyone.They had then added they will be have to wait until Ko Soo returns from a shoot for a commercial in New Zealand to check on the news.Ko Soo said he was "surprised and befuddled" upon seeing the many reports on him upon his return to Korea and that he is cautious to speak of his relationship since his girlfriend is "an ordinary person, not related to the entertainment industry in any way."He then added, "This is about our personal lives so I'd be grateful if you'd be that much more considerate about this. I will inform you again through a press release if this develops into something good."Some are saying Ko Soo may marry his current girlfriend but HB Entertainment has said "it is too early to speak of marriage."Ko is a critically acclaimed actor who has appeared in a score of projects since his debut in 1998 such as dramas "Piano," (SBS, 2001) "Will It Snow For Christmas?"
