SS501 member Kim Hyung-joon has said he turned down Park Jung-min's offer to teach him acting. The remark came during a press conference for Kim's musical "Cafe In" on Monday while responding to a reporter's question on how the members of his five-member boy band reacted when he was cast for the musical.After commenting that "everyone was surprised," Kim explained, "Park offered to teach me to act but I didn't respond once and then I politely turned him down the next time he asked."While "Cafe In" will be Kim's musical debut -- he has only led a singing career since debuting as a member of popular boy band SS501 in 2005 while fellow bandmate Park has appeared in several musicals and a single-episode drama.Kim added, "They all congratulated me wholeheartedly and promised to come watch me perform.
