Cinephiles should get ready to grab their tickets to Asia’s biggest film festival launching next month.
Organizers of the 17th Busan International Film Festival [BIFF] said in a press release Tuesday that the festival’s ticket reservation online will open on September 24 at 5 p.m. KST.
While tickets for the opening and closing screenings will open next Monday online, other tickets for the general screenings will become available both online and on site two days later at 9 a.m. in local time.
Korean web portal DAUM has set up the official reservation page, which will open to the public on Thursday, but people can also get their tickets via Busan Bank’s counters, ATMs and phone banking programs on electronic devices.
Foreign visitors can have the access to ticketing by entering their name, email address, and passport number on the website and they can later issue their tickets at a festival’s temporary box offices near theaters.
The upcoming BIFF has invited some renowned Hollywood stars this year, presenting 304 films submitted from 75 countries.
