Huh Gak to Release New Ballad Single

With the fall season just around the corner, Korean singer Huh Gak is set to roll out a new digital single

The "Hello" singer is to announce his new digital single titled "It Hurts [translated title]" online Friday at noon, his manager Hong Il-hwa told the magazine Friday.

Known for his doleful voice, this is the audition-born star's third release this year after the second mini-album "LACRIMOSO" and "I Need You," the duet single with Zia.

"The impressive sound of acoustic guitar and cello makes Huh's mournful voice stand out even more," an A-Cube official was quoted as saying in a statement sent this morning.

"The post-breakup song's heartbreaking lyrics will evoke sympathy from the listeners."

The officials said music producer Super Changddai, who wrote and composed the single, used the heart beat sound as its base.

Meanwhile, Huh's feel-good tune with songstress Zia came at No. 4 on Gaon's weekly singles chart compiled between September 2 and 8.
