While the Korean national team is on a roll at the 2012 London Olympics, KBS’ “My Husband Got a Family” earned another victory on the weekly TV ratings chart for 20th consecutive week.

The family drama, starring Kim Nam-joo and Yoo Jun-sang, finally recorded its 20th straight win on the weekly ratings chart by attracting 29.7 percent of the total viewers during the first week of August, according to data polled by TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) Monday.

While people here are pulling all-nighter cheering for Korean national teams in London, "My Husband" firmly held onto the No. 1 status by airing a cute commotion between Mal-suk [played by Oh Yeon-seo] and Sae-kwang [played by CNBLUE’s Kang Min-hyuk].

Bringing more hilarious moments week by week, last weekend's "My Husband" showed the 'Mal-Sae couple' running away from their home after their families disapprove their relationship.

Sleeping outside near Han River, the couple silently protested against their family to acknowledge the two's relationship.

In just two weeks after kicking off the run as the follow-up to "Ojakgyo Brothers" (2011-2012) on February 25, the weekend series saw a steep rise in ratings and jumped to No. 1 in the second week of March.

In the meantime, KBS and SBS have enjoyed their domination on the chart after winning the fierce competition among major broadcasters' the live coverage of the Olympics,

KBS sat at No. 2 by airing the semifinals of the women's archery match instead of their regular shows in the primetime slot, at 9 p.m. KST on Friday. Female archer Ki Bo-bae's gold-medal winning effort attracted 26 percent of the viewers in the time frame.

Next at No. 3 is KBS’ Sunday comedy program “Gag Concert," which earned the support of 23.8 percent of the total viewers.

Gripped by the Olympic fever, 23.6 and 24.2 percent of the viewers powered SBS and KBS to sit at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.

SBS aired its live coverage of the bronze medal match of the men's judo-73KG category on last Thursday and KBS aired a semifinal match of the men's individual archery last Friday.

Other programs within the top ten include KBS’ “Reaching for the Stars,” KBS broadcasting of "2012 London Olympics Men’s Archery-Finals" and "2012 London Olympics Women's Archery-Semifinals, "SBS’ “2012 London Olympics Men’s Judo-81KG Semifinals,” and KBS 9 O’clock News.

Proving the national fever over the family drama, AGB Nielson’s data compiled between July 30 and August 5 showed that “My Husband” has stretched its winning streak after pulling in 28.8 percent of the viewers.

KBS’ daily series “Reaching for the Stars” and Sunday's comedy program “Gag Concert” came next in order with 23.6 and 22.9 percent of ratings respectively.
