SISTAR is making a triumphant return to the K-pop scene with “Alone” from the first mini-album of the same name, winning big on weekend TV music charts over the weekend.
On Friday's KBS "Music Bank," SISTAR won the trophy after competing against 4minute's "Volume Up," making it the girls' first win on televised music programs since their album dropped on April 12.
"From being a special MC to grabbing the top spot on today's show, we thank everyone for giving us much more than we deserve. We highly appreciate everyone that helped us to get where we are in this field," SISTAR's Hyolyn said during their acceptance speech.
After their surprising record in a relatively short period on Friday, SISTAR grabbed the album's second win with the same song on SBS "Inkigayo."
Other K-pop artists that staged their performances on both shows last week include Shinhwa, NU'EST, Girl's Day, BTOB, U-KISS, SunnyHill, Ivy and EXO-K.
