The legendary pop idol groups, New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys have joined their forced to hold their joint concert in Seoul.
Kicking off their unit as NKOTBSB, the abbreviation of the two team names, all nine members are ready to open the grand show at the Olympics Stadium in Seoul on June 16, the event's local promoter Type Communication Group told 10Asia in a phone interview on Tuesday.
"They're breaking out from their long hiatus and it'll be a fascinating show with their hits from the 1990s," the official said.
The stars in the 1990s took the stage together for the first time at New Kids on the Block Radio City Music Hall show in June 2010.
Following the performance, NKOTBSB went on to wow their fans, who spent their teenage years in the 1990s, by appearing on television programs and launching their world tour.
The lineup features New Kids on the Block's Janathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood and Donnie Wahlberg, and Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter, A. J. McLean, Brian Littrel and Howie Dorough, which leaves out Kevin Richardson.
