Girl group KARA will tour Asia starting February, making it their first tour in the region since their debut in 2007.

A press release by the girls' agency DSP Media said on Wednesday that "KARASIA" will kick off at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul, Korea on February 18 and 19, which will also be their first concert in the country.

The tour will then continue into about six or seven countries including Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand starting April.

In Japan, where the girls are highly popular and are considered one of the most successful Korean girl groups to break into the Japanese music market, they will perform at a total of five cities.

KARA, composed of members Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole, have a number of singles and albums featuring hit songs such as "Pretty Girl," "Mister," "Lupin" and "STEP."

Most recently, they took part in NHK's prestigious "Red & White Song Battle" along with TVXQ and Girls' Generation as well as other year end ceremonies in Japan.
