American jazz guitarist Pat Metheny will hold a concert in Korea in January 2011, according to the show's promoter Private Curve.

On Tuesday, Private Curve announced in a press release that Pat, along with double bassist Larry Grenadier, will take the stage at the Grand Theatre of the Sejong Cultural Center in Seoul for the "An Evening with Pat Metheny w/ Larry Grenadier" on January 13.

Pat is currently on his world tour with Larry and American jazz drummer Bill Stewart where the trio is promoting their latest release "What's It All About" in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Turkey and Japan.

Pat is considered one of the most critically acclaimed jazz musicians from the 1970s and 80s and is the leader of the Pat Metheny Group.

He incorporates contemporary jazz, post-bop, latin jazz and jazz fusion into his music and has three gold albums and 18 Grammy Awards.

Tickets for "An Evening with Pat Metheny w/ Larry Grenadier" will be available starting November 15.
