Jang Keun-suk says Kim Ha-neul still treats him like her pet

Hallyu star Jang Keun-suk has said that actress Kim Ha-neul still treats him like her pet.

He made the remark in front of reporters in Seoul on Wednesday after the screening of his upcoming movie "You Are My Pet" in which he plays a professional dancer that willingly lives as Kim's pet Momo.

“Kim came to visit me in Japan when I was there for my nationwide tour and I took care of all of her accommodations as well as taking her around myself but she kept ordering me around like I was still her pet,” Jang said.

He went onto say, “She still has my name saved as Momo on her mobile phone.......I just wish she would hurry and come back to being Kim Ha-neul.”

"You Are My Pet," director Kim Byung-gon's first feature, follows the story of Ji Eun (Kim), a successful magazine editor, that decides to allow her brother's friend Kang In-ho (Jang) stay at her house as her pet instead of dating a guy.

The film, based on the Japanese comic titled "きみはペット," is set to open in local theaters on November 10 and will make its premiere in Japan next January.
