Korean idol Kim Jaejoong of boy band JYJ will hold a fan meeting in Shanghai in two months time, according to the event's promoter Melody on Thursday.
The official website revealed that Kim will be in the country for his fan event set to take place at the Shanghai International Gymnastic Center in Shanghai on December 11.
Jaejoong made his debut in 2004 as part of popular boy band TVXQ, but broke off from the group however and started a separate singing career in October 2010 under the trio JYJ with members Park Yuchun and Kim Junsu.
The group is currently in Europe for their first-ever concert at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain and will hold another show in Germany early next month.
Outside of his group activities, Jaejoong has expanded his career into acting with roles in Japanese film "Postman to Heaven" in November 2009 and Fuji TV's "Hard to Say I Love You" in September 2010.
He recently starred in SBS' TV series "Protect the Boss" opposite actor Ji Sung and actresses Choi Kang-hee and Wang Ji-hye.
