K-pop idol Taeyceon of boy band 2PM will make his small screen debut in Japan, starring in an upcoming Japanese drama alongside actress Kim Tae-hee.

On Thursday, JYP Entertainment announced in a press release that Taecyeon will take on the role of Tae-sung in Fuji TV's "僕とスタ?の99日" (translated into '99 Days with a Star') which will air every Sunday night starting October 23.

The drama will tell the story of a top Korean actress named Han Yuna (Kim) who signs a contract to be in a relationship with a bodyguard (Japanese actor Hidetoshi Nishijima) in order to work in Japan while Tae-sung holds a deep dark secret and shares a mysterious relationship with Han.
