American singer-songwriter Raul Midon has rescheduled his Korea concert to September, the show's supervisor Southern Star Entertainment said on Monday.

A press release by Southern Star said that the concert, titled "Raul Midon Live in Seoul," will be held at the Sookmyung Art Center in Seoul on September 4.

The concert was originally set for mid-March but got cancelled following Japan's massive earthquake the same month.

He was set to appear for shows in Japan's Osaka and Tokyo before Korea as well but called those off too.

Midon, who skillfully moves between various genres of music -- from folk music to jazz to pop to R&B and more -- has often been compared to genius musician Stevie Wonder for producing much acclaimed music despite his blindness.

The 43-year-old musician has been a member of the chorus for renowned world pop stars such as Shakira, Ricky Martin, Julio Iglesias and Christina Aguilera and made an official debut with his first single “State of Mind” in 2005 which is also his most well-known album in Korea that included songs “Expressions of Love" in which Stevie Wonder played the harmonica and “Keep On Hoping” whose featuring was done by Jason Mraz.

He went on to release his second and third album “A World Within A World,” and “Synthesis,” in 2007 and 2009, respectively, as well as other compilation albums.
