K-pop boy band 2PM were crowned winners on SBS's televised music show over the weekend.

The boys scored their first Mutizen Award on "Inkigayo" with their title track "Hands Up" from their second full-length album of the same name.

"We want to thank everyone at our agency as well as send out our gratitude to our 'HOTTEST' (name of 2PM's fans) for showing their love and support for us," the members of 2PM were quoted as saying in their acceptance speech, while 2AM member and "Inkigayo" host Jo Kwon joined them for their encore performance.

Meanwhile, KBS's Friday music program "Music Bank" featured a special broadcast of the winners and artists during the first half of 2011.

This week's "Music Bank 2011 First Half Special," which aired in 72 countries worldwide, featured joint performances by girl groups f(x) and 4minute, Secret and SISTAR, INFINITE and G.NA, A PINK and Boyfriend as well as individual performances from Kim Hyun-joong, CNBLUE and TVXQ.
