The full-length music video of TVXQ’s new song “Before U Go” has been unveiled, announced the group’s agency SM Entertainment on Tuesday.
According to SM’s press release, the music video for “Before U Go" was posted today on TVXQ’s official website and SM’s official YouTube Channel.
The latest clips, helmed by director Cho Soo-hyun and starring TVXQ members Max Changmin and U-Know Yunho as well as actor Choi Jong-yoon and actress Ara, had been filmed in late December and January of this year in Seoul, Incheon and Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province.
The music video is about friendship, love and betrayal between four friends who graduated a police academy together to become agents at the National Intelligence Service.
The clip shows TVXQ members demonstrating some of the powerful action scenes with female agent Ara while Choi Jong-yoon plays a character who betrays his friends due to personal reasons.
“Before U Go” is the title track to TVXQ’s repackaged album of “Why (Keep Your Head Down)” which is set for release tomorrow. Its televised performance will be also staged for the first time at KBS' music show "Music Bank" on Friday.
TVXQ, formerly composed of five members Hero Jaejoong, Mickey Yuchun, Max Changmin and U-Know Yunho, enjoyed high popularity throughout Asia as one the leading dance groups in K-pop scene since their debut in 2004.
However, after disputing with agency SM Entertainment over the unfairness of their 13-year exclusive contract, Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu halted their activities as TVXQ and instead formed trio JYJ. TVXQ is now a duo group led by two remaining members Changmin and Yunho.
