A.N.JELLs liven up set of TV series "Minamishineyo"

Even A.N.JELL, the most popular band in Korea in SBS TV series "Minamishineyo", had a humiliating "past". On a shabby stage set in one corner of the huge playground inside the SBS Tanhyun production center in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, stood A.N.JELL"s Hwang Tae-kyung (played by Jang Keun-suk), Jeremy (Lee Hong-ki), and Kang Shin-woo (Jung Yong-hwa). The reason that Hwang's trademark 2:8 hair part is nowhere to be seen and newly-joined member Go Minam (played by Park Shin-hye) is watching from below the stage is because they are shooting A.N.JELL from the early years of their career to be placed in the fifth episode of the show.

Since entertainment shows always demand newcomers to show off their "personal talents", Hwang has nowhere to run. Trembling from anguish within, he finally decides to act the part of a 'gal-gal-ee' or radish grinder. "Give me.. a radish." The tragic look on his face is enough to make the dozens of staff and journalists watching burst into laughter. Jang Keun-suk's face gradually turns increasingly red too, but director Hong Seong-chang shouts out "One more time!" and someone orders, "Keun-suk! You have to hold the radish closer!" So like the professional he is, Jang puts on a comical expression and bares his front teeth, finishing the scene successfully. He then asks Parks Shin-hye, who went up on stage for a photo shoot, to grind a radish along with him because (new TV series) "'IRIS' is catching up". Park, who courageously picked up a radish, end up crying out heartbreakingly, "I can't! I'm a cosmetics model!" Like one of their managers said about the show, "the script is so funny that I want to leak it". The set of this drama is so funny that it is too good to watch alone.
