Lee Je-hoon to serve as riot police during second half of 2012

Korean actor Lee Je-hoon has announced that he will take a break from his acting career for the next two years to fulfill the country's two-year mandatory military service.The "Architecture 101" star is to serve as a riot police at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency (SMPA) starting later this year, according to his agency Saram Entertainment's notice on Lee's official website.The SMPA is known as where actors Ryu Su-young and Cho Seung-woo had served their military duties at between 2008 and 2010.Lee has been busy fostering his acting career the last few years, and has starred in two films and a TV series just this year alone.While seeing some commercial success with "Architecture 101," he played the role of the heir to a rich family running a large corporate on SBS' "Fashion King" (2012).Ahead of the enlistment, Lee will promote his new film, "Fortune Tellers," and shoot another feature film "My Pavarotti" (translated title) alongside veteran actor Han Suk-kyu and "Sunny" actress Kang So-ra.Just yesterday, the promoters of "Fortune Tellers" released a teaser clip of the film and said it will hit local theaters in September.※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
