Just into its first week of release, Korean boy band INFINITE's second Japanese single "Be Mine" has managed to capture the No. 2 spot on Oricon's music chart. The weekly results on Oricon's official website showed on Wednesday that INFINITE moved 50,473 copies of "Be Mine" since going on sale in the country on April 18, following behind popular Japanese artist Mr. Children who placed in first with their latest release. Set to kick off a string of promotional events to commemorate their new release, INFINITE will perform their hit song at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo today, with other shows at the Dojima River Forum in Osaka on April 27 and at the Zepp Fukuoka in Fukuoka on April 30. INFINITE -- composed of members Sung-kyu, Dong-woo, Woo-hyun, L, Sung-yeol, Hoya and Sung-jong -- broke into the K-pop scene with the first album "First Invasion" in 2010. The group expanded their singing career into Japan with "Before the Dawn (BTD)" in November of last year. After promoting "Be Mine" in Japan, INFINITE will return to Korea to gear up for their comeback which will happen sometime in mid-May. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
