Top Korean actress Han Ye-sul is set to be questioned by police today for a hit-and-run charge.A man identified only by his last name Do has accused the 29-year-old actress of driving away after hitting him with her car on Monday morning, leaving him with injuries requiring two weeks of medical treatment. However, Sidus HQ, Han's agency, dismissed the allegation late on Wednesday, saying their actress checked whether Do was okay and apologized to him. They even released CCTV footage of the accident which shows that the side mirror to Han's car bumped into Do's bottom as she pulled into the entrance to the parking lot of her apartment building in Samseong-dong, which caused Do to topple toward the car in front of him. Sidus HQ said it was an accident "minor to the extent that the side mirror did not even fold in" and that Han left the scene after the security guard for their apartment approached them and checked their identities.Having informed her manager of the incident as soon as it happened, he and Han then worked at reaching an amicable agreement with Do, who contacted them later that day, but Do filed the charges, leading Han to be seen as a hit-and-run offender, Sidus HQ explained.Han has been one of the most sought after celebrities in the entertainment industry since debuting as a supermodel in 2001 and becoming a household name after starring in MBC's popular sitcom "Nonstop 4 (2003).”She has appeared in a number of films and dramas since, while most recently having been cast for an upcoming drama, set to premiere in July, where she will play the role of a North Korean spy who falls in love with a popular Hallyu star.
