Actress Kim Eugene in talks to star in Japanese horror flick

Korean actress and singer Kim Eugene is highly likely to play the female lead in an upcoming Japanese horror movie which will mark her debut into the entertainment industry in Japan."Eugene is currently looking into taking on the role in the movie," an official from her agency G.G. Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone, adding that a final decision after receiving the revised script. The movie, helmed by Japanese director Akamatsu Yusuke, is a mystery thriller which tells the story of a girl who dies but comes back to life. Eugene made her debut as one of the members of trio girl group S.E.S in 1997 with their first album "I'm Your Girl." The group was one of the most popular female groups in the late 1990s and early 2000s.After the group disbanded in 2002, Eugene appeared in several dramas including "Loving You (KBS, 2002)," "Wonderful Life (MBC, 2005)" and recently in "Bread, Love and Dreams (2010, KBS)."
