So Ji-sub to make debut as hip-hop artist

Korean actor So Ji-sub will expand his career into the music scene, making his debut as a hip-hop artist this month. His agency 51K announced in a press release on Thursday that So revealed a sneak peek of his upcoming song titled "Pick-up Line" on his official website today, while another teaser video will be unveiled next week and the full version of the tune and video on February 17. The teaser video showed a comical side to So and features guest appearances of Korean comedians Jung Joon-ha and Kim Byung-man. So has always shown interest in hip-hop music -- he recorded two songs "Lonely Life" and "Foolish Love" under the name G for his 2009 action movie "Rough Cut." Known as one of the most popular actors in Korea, So made his debut in 1996 and has since appeared in a number of TV dramas and movies. He became a household name in Korea and Asia with his roles in the 2004 hit series "Something Happened in Bali" and "I'm Sorry, I Love You."
