IU takes 3rd win on Gaon's singles chart with “Good Day”

Teenage songstress IU’s latest single “Good Day” topped Gaon’s singles chart, taking its third win during the week of December 19 to 25, according to the data released by Gaon on Thursday. “Good Day,” the title track of IU’s second EP album “Real,” has enjoyed great success, topping various online and offline music charts since its release in early December. The song tells a story about a girl who is nervous and elated about confessing her feelings to a boy. New songs "OH YEAH" and "HIGH HIGH" by Big Bang members G-Dragon and T.O.P have placed within the top three on Gaon's singles chart, ranking in at No. 2 and 3, respectively. Meanwhile, the duo unit came atop on Gaon's album chart with their first record titled "GD&T.O.P," followed sequentially by IU's latest release "Real" and making a strong 18 spot jump to No. 3 was the limited edition of JYJ's first album "The Beginning."
