Following its success in Japan, K-pop boy band 2PM's latest Japanese single will become available in Korea.
2PM's fourth Japanese single "Beautiful," which went on sale in Japan on June 6, is hitting shelves in Korea today, according to a press release by their agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE).
"'Beautiful' is one of the hottest selling albums that 2PM has released so far and we felt that it was right for their fans in Korea to enjoy it as well," a rep with JYPE was quoted as saying.
Produced in three different editions, "Beautiful" includes the title of the same name that has an addictive hook. The song is currently being played as the background song for a Japanese TV commercial as well.
The successful record has ranked high on Japan's Oricon and Tower Records weekly album chart after selling over 140,000 copies.
Recently, 2PM performed at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan, last month with extra shows held at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama as well.
2PM -- formed of Nichkhun, Chansung, Wooyoung, Junho, Junsu and Taecyeon -- has been perceived as one of the most popular Korean boy bands since their debut in 2008.
