Coming after the success of his concert in Seoul that attracted some 15,000 fans, solo artist XIA will take his Asia tour to Thailand this weekend.
On Thursday, C-JeS Entertainment announced in a press release that XIA will hold the Thailand leg of his concert under the title, "XIA 1st Asia tour in Thailand," at the Royal Siam Paragon in Bangkok on May 27.
"The venue seats about 4,000 fans and the first round of tickets sold out within minutes of going on sale," an official with C-JeS said in the statement.
After his concert in Thailand, XIA will fly to Jakarta in Indonesia for his concert on June 16 and hold shows in seven different cities in Asia.
XIA, whose name is Kim Junsu, is currently a member of singing trio JYJ. He expanded his career as a musical actor with the lead role in "Mozart," "Tears in Heaven" and recently in "Das Musical ELISABETH."
His first solo album "XIA Trantellagra," which includes the title track "Trantellagra," was dropped on May 15 and right after the release, the album topped Gaon's album chart based on the data compiled between May 13 and 19.
