Kwon Sang-woo and Cecilia Cheung's romance film "Shadows of Love" is slated to open nationwide in China this week.
The upcoming pic will hit over 4,000 theaters in China tomorrow, Kwon's agency Bel Actors Entertainment told 10Asia on Thursday.
This will mark Kwon's first project in China in 11 years of his acting career, while he has other ongoing works such as meeting with his fans in the near future.
In the soon-to-be-released flick, Cheung plays a double role of a florist and a cocky 'fu er dai,' meaning 'a child from a rich family' or 'second-generation rich.'
Going back and forth between playing the two characters, she tries to flirt with Kwon's character while he agonizes between the two women to choose the girl of his life.
In early March, Bel Actors told 10Asia that the actor had wrapped up shooting Chinese film "12 Chinese Zodiac Heads" with Jackie Chan, which will open worldwide this December.
Becoming more active with his activities in China, he has also decided to star in a Chinese drama titled "Poong Hwa Sul Wul" (Romanized Chinese title).
Though details of his future plans have yet to be announced, the agency confirmed that he is currently eyeing a few Hollywood action films to make his official debut with.
