Entertainment agency DSP Media has finally revealed their new boy band’s team name and its coming activities.
Known as ‘DSP BOYZ’ during the pre-promotion period, seven-member team A-JAX is scheduled to launch their career in late May, the firm said through a press release on Tuesday.
A-JAX, which has been being promoted under the name ‘DSP BOYZ’ till this morning, will make their first official appearance to the public today on MBC Music’s reality program, ‘Making the Star-DSP BOYZ.'
The show will still use the tentative title of the boys despite the announcement of the real team name, according to DSP's official yesterday.
Last week, the company started rolling out teaser photos and videos of all seven members -- Jae Hyung, Yun Young, Hyo Jun, Sung Min, Hyeong Kon, Seung Yup and Seung Jin -- to give a glimpse of the long-veiled idol group.
A-JAX has been receiving much spotlight as the first idol group to debut from DSP in five years. It also manages the careers of girl groups KARA and Rainbow.
