MBLAQ member G.O is considering a role in Korean actor So Ji-sub's new drama, his agency J.Tune Camp's official told 10Asia on Thursday.
SBS' new series "Ghost" (tentative title) producers have reached G.O to persuade him to join the series, which is set to air every Wednesday and Thursday night starting May.
"It is true that G.O was offered a role in 'Ghost' and he took part in the first script reading. But nothing has been finalized whether he will take the role or not," the official explained.
"Ghost," helmed by producer Kim Hyung-sik from TV series "Sign," "I am a Legend" and "Cain and Abel," tells the story of detectives in a cyber crime investigative service.
The show will also star actress Lee Yeon-hee, who will play a female detective alongside So.
Born Jung Byung-hee, G.O first made his debut in 2007 through group TYKEYS. Two years later, he joined MBLAQ (Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality), with the group's other members, Seung-ho, Lee Joon, Chun-dung and Mir.
Having wrapped up promoting the upgraded version of their fourth mini-album, "BLAQ% Ver," the boys are currently preparing for the group's upcoming Asia tour.
