Korean ballad singers 2AM and K-pop group SHINee scored wins on televised music programs over the weekend.
2AM, who is known as one of the representative ballad groups in Korea, marked their second consecutive win with “I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me” on KBS’ “Music Bank” on Friday.
“I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me,” from the group’s second mini-album “F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Way of Love,” was released on March 12 and has been faring well on various local music charts since.
Meanwhile, Having returned to the music scene with their hippie look and detective-themed release, SHINee snagged the No. 1 spot with their title track “Sherlock” from the album of the same name, on SBS’ “Inkigayo” on Sunday.
"Sherlock" has also powered the boys to win a trophy from Mnet’s music program “M! CountDown” last week, just a week after the drop of the album on March 21.
Other performers on both shows include CNBLUE, Big Bang, Ailee, K. Will, John Park, miss A, BTOB and B1A4.
