Members of top Korean boy bands 2PM and 2AM have been chosen as regular panels for a Japanese TV show, according to their agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE) on Tuesday.
A press release from JYPE said that 2PM and 2AM will travel around Japan and experience the culture and food for Tokyo MX Station's weekly show "2PM&2AM Wander Trip" slated to air every Tuesday nights starting April 3.
In the first episode, 2AM's Seulong and the members of 2PM visited some of the famous and lesser-known places around the country including the Tokyo Tower.
"We hope to show a different side of us through the program and since we are having so much fun shooting the show, hope that the audience enjoys watching it," the members of 2PM and 2AM said in the statement.
2PM, composed of members Nickhun, Taecyeon, Chansung, Junsu, Wooyoung and Junho, made their debut into the music scene in Japan in November 2010. The boys recently released their greatest hits album in the country which fared well on Oricon's music chart.
2AM, composed of members Jo Kwon, Changmin, Seulong and Jinwoon, expanded their singing career into Japan in January of this year with their first single "Never let you go." They are currently promoting their second mini-album "F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Way of Love” and scheduled to release their new Japanese single next month.
