Actor Jang Keun-suk will tour Japan next month, according to his agency Tree J. Company on Monday.
A press release by Tree J. said that Jang will embark on his "2011 JANG KEUN SUK in JAPAN ‘ALWAYS CLOSE TO YOU'" tour to be held in three cities in Japan in October.
A total of 60,000 tickets for five shows, set for Nagoya's Nippon Gaishi Hall on October 20, Osaka's Osaka Jo Hall on October 22 and 23, and Tokyo's Saitama Super Arena on October 25 and 26, sold out in five minutes of going on sale on Saturday, the statement added.
The tour will be his first in Japan since late last year when he visited four cities, also a complete sellout.
Jang has been popular in Japan since starring in 2009 drama "He's Beautiful" which has been remade in the country and has led a successful singing career there as well.
He is now readying for his double role in a Korean drama tentatively titled "Love Rain" co-starring Girls' Generation member Yoona, which is scheduled to air in the first half of next year.
