Big Bang’s “TONIGHT” takes 2nd win on M! CountDown

Big Bang’s “TONIGHT” topped cable music channel Mnet’s weekly music show for the second time yesterday following last week.

“Thank you for the wonderful award. We would also like to express our thanks to Yang Hyun-suk (head of YG Entertainment) and our staff members,” said Big Bang in their acceptance speech at the live airing of "M! CountDown" on Thursday.

“TONIGHT,” the title track to the group's fourth mini-album released late last month that features the combination of the acoustic guitar sound over an electronica dance number, has been a hit ever since its release, topping various online and offline music charts as well as televised music charts.

The boys also expressed additional thanks to "M! CountDown" that welcomed the boys with a big comeback stage this week on which they performed to their other hit song “CAFE.”

Meanwhile, songstress IU’s ballad “The Story Only I Didn’t Know” came in second on the show, followed by MBLAQ’s “Again” on third.

Other singers who appeared on the live stage that day included John Park, G.NA, Jewelry, MBLAQ and Kim Hyung-joon of SS501.
