"The Slave Hunters" couple Jang Hyuk and Lee Da-hae will be teaming up once again for the sequel to KBS’ 2009 hit TV series “IRIS.”Production company of "IRIS 2" Taewon Entertainment said in a press release Wednesday that Jang and Lee decided to take on the upcoming series. In the forthcoming blockbuster, Jang will portray Yoo Gun who is the leader of a Korean spy team, while Lee will take the role of one the team members named Ji Soo-yeon. Meanwhile, an official of Taewon told the magazine over the phone Thursday that K-pop stars KARA's Kang Ji-young, BEAST’s Yoon Du-jun and MBLAQ’s Lee Joon are in discussions with the firm for roles in “IRIS 2” but nothing has been set yet. Bringing more good news to dedicated fans of the long-awaited sequel, “IRIS 2” will also star actors Kim Young-chul, Kim Seung-woo and Kim Min-jong. The blockbuster series is slated to crank in next month and expected to make its premiere during the first half of next year.
