IU to drop 2nd Japanese single in summer

Teenage starlet IU will resume her singing activities in Japan with the release of her second Japanese single. IU's official Japanese website showed on Thursday that she will unleash her new single, featuring the Japanese version of her hit song "YOU&I" from her second studio album "Last Fantasy," on July 18. Her upcoming single will be released in three different editions -- type A that includes the rec and a DVD that features her showcase in Japan, type B that contains the rec and a DVD that contains a music video to "YOU&I and type C that just includes the record. IU made her debut in Japan with her single "Good Day," composed of the Japanese version of her songs "Good Day" and "Raindrop." It has fared well on Oricon's daily and weekly chart upon its release on March 21.
