Daniel Henney to appear in Kim Jee-woon's film

Korean-American actor Daniel Henney will make an appearance in famed director Kim Jee-woon's first English-language film, according to a U.S. based online movie database website. On Wednesday, Internet Movie Database (IMDb) website revealed that Henney will play the character of Phil Hayes in Kim's action film "Last Stand" set to open in theaters in January 2013. "Last Stand," starring Hollywood actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Peter Stormare, tells the story of a sheriff (Schwarzenegger) and his staff that tries to stop a drug cartel boss from leaving to Mexico. The film will also be Schwarzenegger's first project since ending his seven-year term as governor of the state of California while it has been pre-sold to several countries overseas. Born in Michigan to a Korean-American mother and an American father of British descent, Henney made his debut in the Korean entertainment business as a model. He is best known for appearing in MBC's TV series "My Name is Kim Sam Soon" and KBS' "Fugitive: Plan B." In the United States, Henney had roles in Hollywod pic "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and U.S drama "Three Rivers."
