2NE1 to unveil best album in Japan in March

Top Korean female idols 2NE1 will unveil a new album in Japan next month featuring several of their hit songs. On Friday, the group's official Japanese website showed that 2NE1's best album will become available in the country on March 28. The album will be composed of their past Japanese releases "I AM THE BEST," "UGLY," "GO AWAY" and the Japanese version of their dance tunes "FIRE" and "I DON'T CARE." 2NE1, formed of members Park Bom, CL, Sandara Park and Minzy, is one of the most popular girl groups since making their debut in May 2009. Their singing career in Japan, which they kicked off in September of last year, took off to a favorable start as well, topping the Oricon chart with their debut release in the country to make them the first Korean artist to achieve the feat.The girls released their first original Japanese single "GO AWAY," produced in two editions, which ranked ninth on Oricon's daily chart on the day of its release last November.2NE1 will be performing at the 2012 SPRINGROOVE in Japan in late March alongside YG Entertainment labelmates Big Bang. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
