Girl group 2NE1 will expand their singing career into Thailand and Vietnam during the next few weeks, according to their agency on Thursday.A press release by YG Entertainment said that the female quartet will hold their first Thailand concert "NOLZA in BANGKOK" at the Impact Hall in Bangkok on October 29.They will then be the only Korean artists to take part in a concert to be hosted at Hanoi's National Convention Center on November 19.The concert, hosted jointly by the Korean culture center in Vietnam, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency and admixtures firm Silkroad C&T, will be aimed at revitalizing the exchange of pop culture between Korea and Vietnam and helping exemplary teenagers in Vietnam."We invited 2NE1 to the show because a research into the companies based here showed that 2NE1 in particular is popular with Vietnamese teenagers," an official with Silkroad was quoted as saying in the statement. 2NE1, formed of members Park Bom, CL, Sandara Park and Minzy, is one of the most popular girl groups since making their debut in May 2009.
