Japan's DOUBLE collaborates with 2PM's Junsu

Top Japanese R&B singer DOUBLE has worked with boy band 2PM's Junsu for her upcoming album.A press release by 2PM's agency YG Entertainment said on Thursday that Junsu did a featuring for DOUBLE's song "Count 3" which will be included in her album "WOMAN" set for a release on October 5.DOUBLE suggested the collaboration and Junsu willingly accept it, making it his first featuring for a Japanese artist."WOMAN" will be DOUBLE's first studio release in four years and her last albums "10 Years Best We R&B" and "The Best Collaborations," both released in 2008, debuted at second place on Oricon's weekly album chart.DOUBLE, whose real name is Takako Hirasawa, originally debuted in 1998 as a duo formed of herself and her sister Sachiko and although her sister died a year later due to an illness in the brain, Takako continued to use DOUBLE as her stage name.Dubbed Japan's 'Queen of R&B,' DOUBLE is considered to be a pioneer for American-style R&B in Japan -- the sisters decided to enter the music business with R&B after being inspired by Mary J.
