KARA's Roller Coaster Love
Korean idol group KARA's music video of their third Japanese single was unveiled today. Universal Japan, in charge of distributing KARA’s album in Japan, disclosed the new music video for “Jet Coaster Love” filmed in Korea last month, on KARA’s official Japanese website.The latest clip which is nearly four minutes long shows the five girls dancing to their cheerful and vibrant song against a colorful background likened to an amusement park.The song, which was originally recorded for the commercial of aesthetic brand TBC that KARA endorses, was already released as a ringtone last month after which it appeared atop Japan’s Recochoku mobile music chart in just a day of going on sale. The album is set to hit stores in on March 23.KARA, whose members Han Seungyeon, Kang Jiyoung, Park Gyulee, Gu Hara and Nicole debuted in 2007 with the album “Blooming,” rose to fame with hit songs such as “Mister,” “Wanna,” and “Lupin.” The group expanded their singing careers into Japan in August of last year and saw their career soar further, being named best new artist of the year at the 25th annual Japan Gold Disc Award, placing at No. 1 on the Oricon chart's listing for the most successful new artist of 2010, and them also being named the most promising artist of 2011.The girls are set to return to Korea on March 12 after wrapping up filming for their Japanese TV series “URAKARA” where they star as spies with a special mission to win over the men of their dreams and other music activities.
