Top K-pop male group TVXQ! is gearing to reveal the first comeback performance of “Catch Me” on KBS’ live music show next week.
The popular duo will hold a series of comeback performances of the new title tune next week on Friday's KBS “Music Bank,” Saturday's MBC “Music Core” and Sunday's SBS “Inkigayo,” according to SM Entertainment’s press release Tuesday.
On Monday, the group unveiled the music video of “Catch Me” featuring the duo’s powerful and distinctive choreography that instantly captured many music fans’ attention.
The officials said Tony Testa, an acclaimed choreographer that also choreographed moves to SHINee’s “Sherlock,” intended to express the anger and sorrow of the tune through the musical-style dance moves after being inspired by Joss Whedon's superhero pic “The Avengers.”
“There had been six different versions before we finalized the choreography. I have tried hard to show best performance of ‘Catch Me’ with TVXQ! members, and feel very satisfied and proud about the outcome,” the choreographer was quoted as saying.
The top singing duo’s sixth record “Catch Me,” listing eleven tracks including Max Changmin’s self-written tune “I Swear," will hit the stores on September 26.
