Korean actress Jang Seo-hee and singer and actor Jang Woo-hyuk will show their hosting skills at the opening ceremony of the 2012 Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan).
The annual festival's officials said in a press release on Monday that the pair will open the 16th PiFan event at the Bucheon Gymnasium on July 19.
The statement also explained that the actress suggested the artist to be her co-host, based on the mutual trust of the two's teamwork built from their friendship.
Additionally, the organizers revealed that actor Cho Seong-ha will be presented with the 'it star award' on the same day for starring in various dramas, movies and musicals.
Other celebrities that will attend the opening ceremony of the PiFan include Ha Jung-woo, Ha Ji-won, Lee Je-hoon, Min Hyo-rin, Kang Soo-yeon, Ahn Sung-ki, Park Chul-min, Choi Song-hyun, Yoon Sung-hyun and Bae Seul-gi.
Into its 16th edition, the 11-day fest is slated to kick off with the Korean omnibus pic "Horror Stories" on July 19 and close with the Japanese feature film "For Love's Sake."
